I met Fred shortly after he joined The Essex and Kent Scottish. He was one of my driving instructors and was an exceptional teacher. He was a good friend who I had coffee with while reading the morning edition of the Toronto star or London Free Press. I have always missed him since he moved to the great white north. My condolences to his family friends and Parry Cowan another great friend of both of Fred and I. It is indeed sad to see time move on and less of us are here to enjoy each other’s lifelong friendships such as we have from military service. God Bless you Fred and RIP brother.
