Ms. Judith “Judy” Renwick, née Renwick, died in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada, on August 30, 2026, at the age of 76.

Judy was born on March 28, 1950, in Cabri, Saskatchewan, Canada. Over the course of 42 1/2 years, she worked in various capacities, including as administrator of estates and Deputy Public Guardian and Trustee. Judy was known as a gifted storyteller who loved to meet and talk with people and to learn their history. She cared deeply for Whitehorse and appreciated the many interesting people she encountered through her work and throughout her life there. An adventurous person with a strong will and determination, she carried those qualities through difficult times in her life.

Family was central to Judy’s life. She loved very much her son Lee and her grandsons, Archer and Burton. She was predeceased by her mother, Eva, in 2014; her father, Clarence, in 2021; and her son Lee in November 2025.

Judy’s life was marked by decades of public service, a genuine interest in others, and a lasting connection to the community she called home. She will be remembered for the care she brought to her work, her love of conversation, and the stories she shared with those who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held on September 26, 2026, from 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM at Whitehorse United Church, 601 Main Street Whitehorse, Yukon .
