A Death Has Occurred
If a death has occurred, please call 867-668-4484. Our voicemail will have the contact information for our on-call attendant who can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to care for your immediate needs. They will have a funeral director follow up with you to provide you with information on the immediate next steps, and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
In the arrangement meeting, we will ask the following questions to complete the Registration of Death and order the Certificate of Death on your behalf:

Full legal name and address of the deceased.

Legal marital status (if applicable, please bring the Marriage Certificate).

Date and place of birth.

Deceased’s mother’s name and father’s name and places of birth.

Occupation for majority of their life.

Executor or legal next of kin contact information.

We will go through the process and paperwork for cremation or burial. This can include selecting a cremation or burial casket, discussing urn options (if cremation is chosen), arranging a cemetery plot, preparing and dressing your loved one’s body, and discussing any special requests you may have.

There is a lot of information to discuss when a loved one dies, and it may feel overwhelming. We will do our best to guide you through these steps.
