Barbara Anne Geoghegan
After a very long and hard-fought battle with cancer, Barbara had to say her last goodbye to family, friends, and her many clients, past and present. Dave, her loving husband and best friend of 45 years, was her constant companion and devoted caregiver for her last difficult months and was by her side to the end.
Barbara is survived by her husband Dave, her three brothers, Brian (Dorothy) of Comox, B.C., Greg (Maureen) of White Rock, B.C., Jeffrey (Gloria) of Surrey, B.C. and her sister Terri McIntyre of Whitehorse, Yukon; beloved step daughters, Michelle (Ryan) and Tammy; sisters-in-law Debbie Johnson and Ali Geoghegan; grandchildren Danni, Kyle and Bradley; two great grandchildren, Wyatt and Stetson; niece Vanessa; three nephews, Daniel (Melanie and daughter Evelyn) Joshua and Jerimiah.
She will be sadly missed by all, including her “extended” family Debbie and Ed Keenan, their sons Edward (Jody) and Jonathon.
Barbara was born in Whitehorse and spent most of her life in the Yukon. She loved camping, boating, fishing and spending time with Dave and their numerous dogs over the years. Her home was always surrounded by flowers in the summer and beautifully decorated for Christmas in the winter. There was always a gathering of family and friends on Christmas Eve.
Well known in the business community as an exceptional bookkeeper/accountant, Barbara continued to operate Kodiak Bookkeeping Services until she was too ill to continue. Over the years, many of her clients became her friends, and they will miss her unwavering support and hard work.
As requested by Barbara, there will not be a service, but a family gathering in the spring to spread her ashes in the Yukon.
Dave Geoghegan,

So sorry to learn of Barb’s passing. I will always remember her patience with me when as I learned to navigate the book keeping world.
