Charles Lee Renwick Suley

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lee Suley, age 43, on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at his home in Whitehorse, Yukon.

Charles Lee Renwick Suley (known as Lee) was born on June 29, 1982, in Whitehorse, YT to Chuck and Judy Suley. Lee leaves behind his two sons Archer (11) and Burton (8), his mother Judy, his Uncle Ralph, aunts and cousins and his many friends.

He grew up south of Whitehorse at the Carcross cutoff. He attended Elementary school at Goldenhorn where he made many lifelong friends. He graduated from F.H. Collins in 2001. He continued to make his home in Whitehorse where he met his partner and mother of his boys in 2009. Lee worked briefly for the City of Whitehorse before going to Territorial Autoparts to join his dad. While at Territorial Autoparts he obtained his Red Seal Parts Certificate, eventually buying his father’s shares and taking over the management in 2013.

Lee had a big smile and even a bigger heart. He was very social and attracted many friends throughout his life. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, boating, skiing, and especially sledding. Lee was generous and kind and he will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.

Lee was predeceased by his 4 grandparents and his Uncle Stan. In recent years he also lost his father Chuck and his Aunt Pudge both of which were devastating losses for him. Lee was looking forward to moving on in his life by reconnecting with friends and enjoying his two boys. Lee was a beloved soul and will be missed by all who were touched by his sensitive and kind heart.

A celebration of Life will be held Friday November 28, 2025 @ 1:30 PM at the Sternwheeler Hotel & Conference Center (201 Wood St.). In lieu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice.
