Paul Richard Malkin
Our loving husband and father, Paul Richard Malkin, passed away on October 29, 2025, entering the Kingdom of his Lord Jesus Christ on his 77th birthday.
Paul was born October 29, 1948, in Oxshott, Surrey, England, the only son of Alfred and Sheila Malkin. As a young boy, his family immigrated to Canada and settled in Victoria, British Columbia, where he faced early challenges that shaped the man he would become. Even through those formative years, Paul’s quick wit and playful sense of humor began to emerge — a trait that would stay with him throughout his life.
Paul lived a full and unconventional life, marked by creativity, curiosity, and resilience. He managed bands, built a log house with his own hands, pursued mineral prospecting, and crafted detailed models and jewelry, always following wherever his interests and adventurous spirit led him, from British Columbia to the Yukon Territory to Florida and back.
In later years, Paul found comfort and faith in Jesus Christ, a source of peace and healing for his soul. His journey was complex and imperfect, but it was also deeply human, shaped by perseverance, faith, and a heart that never stopped seeking.
Paul is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Wendy, his sons Jason, Cyrus, and James, and ten beloved grandchildren. He will be remembered for his cheeky grin, his unpredictable stories, his creative hands, and the way his humor could lighten even the heaviest moments.
He now rests in eternal peace, embraced by his Savior, free from pain, struggle, and wandering — home at last.
