Catherine Allain

It’s with sad Hearts we are announcing the passing of our wife, mother, grand mother and great grand mother Catherine.

Catherine is survived by her husband of 63 years Joseph (Zie) Allain, her children, Tracey (Peter) Jacobs of Whitehorse, Milford (Sandra) Allain of Whitehorse, and Dawn (Al) Badke of Red Deere Alberta;  Grand children Kasey, Jake, Jessie, Dawson and Sylvana. Great grand children Madyson & Ryan. Catherine is also survived by her sisters, Mary Anne Harrach of Whitehorse, Josie Albert, Dorothy Thibodeau, Eileen Bernard, Eva Clements, & Sheila Gaudet of Prince Edward Island.

She is predeceased by her parents Edmond & Mary Gaudet and her brother Eric.

Catherine and her family moved to the Yukon from PEI in 1982. Catherine worked at the Whitehorse General Hospital in the kitchen for over 18 years. Catherine loved playing Bingo and playing crib while skunking her opponent at most games. She also loved camping, and sitting by the fire. She was greatly loved and will be truly missed.

The family of Catherine would like to Thank all of the wonderful staff of copper ridge place. For the extraordinary care and compassion they gave Our wife/ mother. We would like to also like to Thank Dr. Chau & Dr. Quong for the care they provided mom.
