I’m incredibly sad to hear that Chris is no longer with us. I got to play golf with him a few times and saw him in the pro shop at MVGC every day during the summers. A great man who always had a good sense of humour. Frustrated all of his friends because he never missed a fairway. He’ll be sorely missed.

Chris’ smile literally lite up the room. Chris, you were such a kind, gentle soul. I know you loved Patti with all your being.
And Dean and Grayson were your daily joy. I remember meeting you for the first time, in Inuvik General Hospital. And my friend Patti went out with you. You were thought to be one of the “bad boys of Inuvik” and you proved everyone wrong. I am so thankful I spent that time with you, Patti, and Dean at Christmas all those years ago. An amazing cook! Thank you Chris for recognizing the friendship between Patti and I, and supporting it. I also came to love you. I am incredibly sad that Chris’ time has come, and I won’t see him again. He had a great sense of humour.
Patti, Dean, and Grayson, words do not come anywhere near expressing how much I love you. You are all in my heart. Deborah, Debbie Sketchley from Powell River, who met Patti when we were both working in the Inuvik General Hospital, and living in the Residence.

Chris will be missed on earth, but Heaven will enjoy him, especially his sense of humour. Thinking of you Pat.
