Dennis Robert McMahon

Dennis was born in Emo, Ontario and passed away peacefully at Thomson Centre, Whitehorse, Yukon, after a five-year illness which left him paralyzed.

Dennis will be sadly missed by his father, Terry (late Irene); stepmom, Yvonne; sister, Terri-Lynn; nephew, Adam and his wife, Donna. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.Dennis was a hunting and fishing guide for many years in the Yukon and Territories. When he was not working in his trade, he would ride his beloved motorcycle (which he built from scratch) around Canada and the US with his good friend Doug.

Many thanks to Cynthia and the nurses, doctors and care providers at Thomson Centre. They helped us facetime visits with Dennis when we couldn’t visit because of Covid-19.

Donations can be made in Dennis’ memory to the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, Whitehorse or Thomson Centre, Whitehorse.

Thank you for your post. We miss him to. He followed his dreams and chose a life that he enjoyed. We can’t ask for anymore than that. Even though you two had your differences he always asked about you. Love T & Y
