Gregory Charles HUNTER
Passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer at Wind River Hospice House in Whitehorse.
Predeceased by his parents Bill (2003), Joan (1975), and brothers Wayne (2016) & Stephen (1979).
Greg leaves behind his three sons: Dan (Tara) Yellowknife, NWT; Brian (Tanis) Cochrane, AB; and Andrew Yellowknife, NWT; as well as three grandchildren: True, Cash and Jordy.
Survived also by his siblings: Murray (Val), Janet (Norm), Robert, Gail (Darren) and many nieces and nephews.
As per Greg’s wishes his cremated remains will be scattered in the Mackenzie River, NWT and the Yukon River, both places he loved and spent the majority of his adult life living and working.
In his memory if you wish to donate to your local hospice in appreciation for the wonderful work they do.

I am sorry I missed saying ‘good-bye’, Greg. You will always be fondly remembered as one of the first people we came to quickly know and remain life-long friends with, 40 years ago. May you keep smiling on the next plane and ride free and out of pain.
