Jean Margaret Adams
It is with sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Jean Adams on June 11th, 2018 in her 100th year. Jean passed away peacefully at her home in Copper Ridge Place with family at her side.
Jean was born in Fraserton, Alberta in 1918. Moving to the Yukon over 20 years ago, she made Whitehorse her home and community. She is predeceased by her husband, our father, Dave Adams, brothers Donald, Tom and Keith McCumsey and sister Verna Willis. She is survived by her 4 children, son Bill (Kathy) Spruce Grove, Gail (Al Thiessen) Whitehorse, Audrey (Harlan Brandsgard) Regina, Joyce (Mike Cook) Whitehorse. Jean has 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Copper Ridge Place, date and time to be announced. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Copper Ridge Place Residents fund.
The family wishes to extend our thanks and heartfelt appreciation to all staff at Copper Ridge Place involved in mom’s care. Their patience and comradery shown with mom during a difficult stay, will never be forgotten. Thank you.
