Jessie Smith (née Simpson)
Mom departed this life August 21st, 2023, at the age of 87. A fiercely independent horsewoman who loved the outdoors, gardening, berry picking, walking with her dog, and playing a mean game of cribbage (Mom wasn’t above taking a senior point or two).
She will be deeply missed by her children Maureen (Ken), Jesse Ross (Cindy), Leatha, Valerie (Larry) and William; grandchildren Beverly, Linda and Pyper; 6 great grandchildren, brothers Jim and David and sister Mary; and many nieces and nephews. There are no words to describe the depth of loss and hope for a glorious afterlife. The love will live on.
