Jillian Joy Campion
The family of Jillian Joy Campion are sad to share the word of her passing on December 17, 2024.
Jillian was born in Whitehorse, Yukon, on February 7, 1960, to Chester and Helga Campion.
Jill was predeceased by her parents, her brother Brian, and her sister Anne.
Jill will be greatly missed and remembered by her family, brother Greg (Eva), nieces Cara, Meghan, grand niece Nova and nephew Colin, lifelong friends Jayne and Heather, the Eby/Anderson family, and other close friends.
Jill had a great love for her family and friends. Her two godchildren Wesley and Kasey held a special place in her heart. She dearly loved her dogs Jayke and Gracie, and treated them as valuable family members.
Jillie Bean, as she was fondly called by her friends, spent her life in the Yukon, although she loved to travel and vacation in warmer climates.
Jill was diagnosed with MS at the early age of twenty-seven. However, she was able to cope bravely with this disease for many years and live a full life, all the while holding on to her witty sense of humour.
The family would like to thank the staff at Copper Ridge Place for their caring and generous support during Jill’s lengthy time spent there. A special thank you to Ann Marie who was not only a caregiver, but a true friend.
A celebration of Jillian’s life will be held at a later date.
