Julia Greer
It is with extreme sadness that the family of Julia Catherine Greer announces her passing on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at the age of 42. Julia used considerable energies in rescuing dogs and finding them forever homes. She was a Holistic Health and Nutrition Practitioner with a passion for encouraging everyone to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Julia will forever be remembered by her loving husband Doug Moyer, his children Amy, Eric(Erin) and John, by her parents John and Linda Greer, her brother Tom (Amanda), and her three nephews Andrew, Daniel and Nathan. She will also be fondly remembered by her numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and her three fur babies Bella, Maggie and Jasmine.
A dog walk will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the SS Klondike sternwheeler located on Robert Service Way. Refreshments will follow at the Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre.
Memorial donations in memory of Julia may be made to any animal shelter.
Julia will forever live on in our hearts.
The Moyer and Greer families
When we lose a loved one
Our world just falls apart
We think that we can’t carry on
With this broken heart
Everything is different now
You’re upset and you’re annoyed
Your world it seems is shattered
There’s such an awful void
There’s got to be a reason
And we have to understand
God made us and at any time
He’ll reach down for our hand
There might not be a warning
We won’t know where or when
The only thing were certain of
Is well meet them once again.

I want to express my deepest condolences for your family’s loss. Something that has always brought me comfort is the promises from our creator Jehovah God. Rev. 21:4 says soon,”he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Then Acts 24:15 promises we will be reunited with loved ones we have already lost by means of the resurrection. I hope this can bring you comfort as well during this difficult time.

Hello families of Greer and Moyer,
I just learnt of dear Julia’s passing away. I am so saddened to hear of this, even though it has been just over 2 years. Julia was a very kind soul, loved life and was always passionate about her purpose in life. I worked with Julia in the early 90s and she was a shining star. May you rest in peace Julia. You will be missed Julia and are missed. xoxo
