Lois loved her community, family, and friends. Her door was always open for a visit, tea, and a good laugh.

It is with heartfelt gratitude we extend our appreciation to the incredible team of doctors, Dr. S.
Alton, Dr. D. Storey, Dr. S. Samuelson, and Dr. D. Kanachowski. A big thank you to Sophie from Social Work, Jeanette from Occupational Therapy, and all her nurses especially Brie and Theresa. A special thank you to the entire Home Care team, especially Sol Ledine, for their exceptional care of Lois. We could not have fulfilled Lois’ wishes to be at home without this amazing team. Their time, commitment to her comfort, professionalism, support and compassion was extraordinary.
In honour of Lois’ memory, there will be a tea and a celebration held at Hellaby Hall in the Anglican Church of Canada in Whitehorse, on Thursday, November 7, 2019, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Thank you Elsie, she was feisty right at the end. She wanted us to call Dave Storey at 3 in the morning when she had some severe pain, because he had a commitment that she wouldn’t have any pain to give him shit and call him a f—– liar.
