Norma Jean Renwick

Norma Jean Renwick died peacefully surrounded by her family on December 9th, 2017 at 10:50pm.
Norma was born in Charlottetown, PEI on February 10, 1957. She has traveled and lived in various places in the world including the UK, Europe, the Arctic, Caribbean, US and Canada. She has spent the last 27 years building a home with Tom and their girls in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory.
Norma wants to be remembered for her attributes as loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Auntie, Nana, God Mother, Nurse and Best Friend. She leaves behind  her dear husband Tom, children -Ashley, Bernadette, Billie Janine and Salena, grand children -Daphne and Charlie, Siblings and Dearest friends- Heath (Janet) ,Kevin and Shane, Dana (Paul),  Diana (Gino), Suellen (Victor) Marlene, Rose & Marlene.
Norma had an extensive career as a Nurse sharing a wealth of knowledge, caring and advocacy to all her patients where ever she worked. She loved life, laughed often and lived life on her terms. Norma had a loving relationship with her saviour Jesus Christ and has left to be with him. The family is grateful to all the care provided by her Dr.Sally McDonald and the Nurses of Karen’s Room.
In lieu of flowers donations to “Karen’s Room” at Whitehorse General Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
Norma has requested no service.

    To Tom and girls: Our heartfelt sympathy to all of you on the passing of Norma. She has been a longtime friend to Dwight and I and always a part of the Morrissey family. We have always enjoyed having her in our lives and feel strongly the pain of her loss. May your memories of Norma’s love bring comfort to you in the days ahead.     So sorry to hear the passing of Norma. Condolences to you Tom and the girls. Norma was a vibrate, compassionate and funny individual. She will be sorrily misssed.

    My sympathy to Tom and family. I worked with Norma on Maternity at WGH. We had lots of good times and laughs . Sad to hear.
