Rock Brisson
Father, brother, grandfather, friend, and life partner. Rock had the ability to reach the souls of those around him. His sense of humour accompanied by an unbridled laugh made us feel welcomed and loved.
Rock was born in Shawinigan, Quebec and moved West to High Level, Alberta for work. He settled in Whitehorse where he worked as a painter and handyman as owner of Northern Lights Painting and Renovations.
Rock leaves behind his life partner: Bonnie Hynes; his children: Goldie Brisson, Stephanie Eastaugh, Victoria Chabot; stepchildren: Crystal Hynes, Amanda Hynes, Tyler Hynes, and Tara Hynes-LeBlanc; his nine brothers and sisters, and his ten grandchildren, Rock is predeceased by his son Christopher Brisson (2015).
At age 61, Rock leaves us too early after a brief battle with cancer. He will be missed by his family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on July 21, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Whitehorse United Church, located at 601 Main Street.
