Ronald Edward Carr
Ronald (Ron) was born in Doaktown N.B. and headed to the Yukon in 1958,
after completing Teachers College.
His 40 year teaching career saw him holding a number of positions in various
Yukon schools, where he was affectionately known as “Mr. Carr”.
Ron loved to travel, seeing most of the world. He also had a passion for
collecting art. His Yukon Art is now part of the Yukon Government permanent art collection.
He leaves behind his brother, Robert Carr (Deborah); his chosen family Doug and
Linda Heynen, Lindsay and Samson Hartland, and Mitchell and Hannah Heynen.
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Copper Ridge Place Staff for
all the affection and care shown to Ron during his stay.
At Ron’s request there will be no service or celebration of life.
In leu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choosing.
