Terry Still

February 8, 1977 ~ September 5, 2020

Terry Still

It is with the utmost sadness to announce the sudden passing of Terry Joseph Arthur Still on September 5, 2020. Terry will be forever and dearly missed by his children Michael, Treyden, Shyanne, Terell, Tyreke, Marika, and Peyton. He is survived by his devoted wife Meghan, his mother Joanne Still, his sisters Roxanne and Jen , his two brothers Bryon and Bradley Still and two step brothers Alex and Aldo Labro. He will always be fondly remembered by all his nieces, nephews, sister and brother in-laws. Terry was born in Raymond Alberta to parents Joanne and Bill Still; he spent lots of time with his grandpa Jim Still on the farm in Raymond, Alberta tending to cattle, horses and greyhounds and grew up in and around Cranbrook and Grand Forks, BC.

He moved to Whitehorse in 2005, and started a career as a respected butcher at Food Fair where he met the love of his life Meghan; they had a love so incredible, one that we can only hope to achieve in our lifetime. After getting married they moved around a bit before coming back to the Yukon to call it home and raise their family. Terry had started an off-road club while on Victoria Island which they called the Midnight Riders and quickly grew into a second family. Hunting and fishing was life for Terry, a life in which he lived to the fullest. Camping and the outdoors were second nature to Terry and he shared his love for the outdoors with his wife and children at any given chance. He loved his family and friends more than anything.

Terry was an amazing father, husband, brother, son and mentor taken far too soon. Our hearts are forever broken. There will be a small Celebration of Life at Fish Lake, Friday, September 25th from 4-8pm. Please bring a dish or appy to share.

Terry was such a wonderful and dedicated husband and father. A man of many traits. He was loved so very very much by many, but no more so than his lovely wife Megs. This is an unbelievable tragedy. Terry, I will hold my memories of you to my heart, I wish you peace in your passing. Merry meet, Merry part and Merry meet again.
