Timothy Orville Rhine (Tim)

May 31, 1956 ~ January 10, 2024

Timothy Orville Rhine (Tim)

We are sad to announce the passing of Tim Rhine, husband to Rose, father to Shane and Jodie (Chad), grandfather to Colten, Jessie and Chase, and friend to many. Tim was predeceased by his loving son Shane in 2017. Tim passed away peacefully and pain free at his home, with Rose at his side; exactly the way he wanted it.

Tim worked hard his whole life, left home at the age of 15, got a job as a swamper and then soon he was driving. It was not too long before Tim bought his first big rig and managed to build a successful trucking company (Ti-Ro Trucking). After years of running a successful company Tim and Rose decided to sell the truck company and they soon had their next business going (Ti-Ro Ent), oilfield service rentals. Successful as it was, it was not Tim’s passion.

After much deliberation, Tim and Rose made the decision to complete their move to the Yukon, where they had already purchased and developed two properties and were establishing a great hunting camp rental business for hunters, trappers, adventurists, etc. Tim had a great love for the outdoors and the wilderness. He always found time to enjoy his horses, whether it be just spending time working with them, trail ride adventures, poker rallies, or pulling sleigh, Tim loved horses and always treated them with the upmost care and respect. Tim was a hunter; he loved every aspect of the hunt, and he shared that passion with many friends and family over the years.

Tim will be remembered for his work ethic, his easy-going personality, his upbeat attitude, his generous spirit, and his love of life.
